Did you pick yours up at Futureshop or BestBuy?

i went to Futureshop.

its important to note that i bought a tablet that was already opened so the price was even lower, another $60 off.

it was a return and they resold it - nothing so far is wrong with it - completely brand new with all the wrappings etc...the sales guy went through everything with me with this tablet before i bought it. which i though was really nice of him to give me reassurance about it.

i also bought the extended 2 year warranty on it from FS.  the only reason i bought is because the sales guy told me that some of the tablets have a battery issue and when the battery goes it costs close to $200 to fix it.

i also mentioned that i would be going abroad and does the warranty cover anything like power surges - and he told me yes it does.

Futureshop will fix your product and if it cannot be fixed they will replace it with a brand new one.

i was sold.

Also the bettery life is pretty good.

I charged it yesterday full and left it unplugged last night all night and all day today - the battery is still at 100%

i am sure that with usage it will go down alot faster.
