The condoms that are my preferred brand are not distributed free, and those that are sold in shops and pharmacies have Value Added Tax (VAT). I find it strange that condoms should attract VAT, especially if they are being promoted as a means to reduce the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. Why are condoms placed in the same category of harmful substances like alcohol and cigarettes, with VAT, attached? Those commodities can harm the body, while on the contrary, condoms protect the users and their partners, and therefore should not carry VAT. I would be encouraged to see the new government address this issue with urgency, since having VAT on condoms discourages the public from buying and hence using them

No VAT on this item
i agree with the her stance

I would expect that this woman would be attacked in much the same way that Sandra Fluke was attacked by Rush Limbaugh . After all the subject is the same ... contraception
I will not be surprised if someone like Freddie Kissoon starts calling her a slut

but she's not asking just for herself....but also for everyone, including all those teenagers out there
who really should be encouraged to abstain

Lord guyana has changed since my time . I remember when nobody was gettin any at that young age.
well she is asking for the premier brand
the govt is distributing free why she cant use the free ones
if you want to name brand you should pay the tax
I'm sure she is like the other one from DC that one uses $3000 a year
