interesting isnt it..!  religiouis fervor against drunkeness, led to extreme reduction in apple biodiverstiy, monoculture and the imbibing of huge volumes of carcinogenic pesticide in the world population that eat apples.

in marxism, materialism and the dialectic method, one can glean a way of thinking that is consistent with this inter-connectedness of nature, approaching all issues from that angle and move ahead mucg faster  and safer, that from a captalist point of view.

the relevant questins of what each actin would produce would always be asked and would always guide decison-making

anyway this question:  giVEN that westindians like apples so much that there is a huge westindin apple import market...HOW IN THE HELL WE HAVE NOT HYBRIDIZED, OR SELECTED VARITIES THAT CAN GROW SUCCESSFULLY IN THE REGION AND DEVELOP AN APPLE BUSINESS OF we OWN?

I will dig into the rest of the doc later...but it is very interesting indeed!
