We can excuse Seales, as he is in experienced, but, to me, has been the best of the 4. Josey and Holder conceded more than 200 runs but no wicket. Roach just one wicket.
On paper, the WI bowling looks stronger than their batting. To win this match, the bowlers had to step up. WI batting is inexperienced, and Australia bowling is powerful. To put up 50 plus opening partnership in both innings against Cummins and Starc at Perth is quite an achievement. Chanderpaul knew he was going to be baptized by fire, but like a true warrior, a tiger, he countered the Aussies aggression. Good start to his career.
