Maaan, back then the Premiership was the facking Premiership - tough as nails.  To make that Cavs Premier team you either had to make tons of runs in our 1st division team or come up as a sponsored player from Guyana.  Now I see some guys playing Elite (new Premier) division and dem can't bat, bowl or field properly.  Back in 97 we had Azeemul Hanif (Guyana & WI player), Shiv Seeram (Canadian player), Andy Cummins (WI and Bajan player), Danny Kissoon (Canadian player), Krishna Kissoon (Canadian player), Fazil Sattaur (Guyana and Canadian player), Sunil Dhaniram (Guyana player).  Facking powerhouse.  I played 2 Premier games that year as 12th man water boy. :cheesy:
