A majority of Canadians support a system that would require proof of vaccination to access some non-essential services, a new poll suggests as the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic takes hold.
Seventy-six per cent of respondents to the survey by Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies said they would strongly or somewhat support a vaccine passport like the one Quebec is implementing.
Quebecers are even more supportive of the measure, with 81 per cent saying they're in favour of the plan, which will apply in places like bars, concerts and festivals where there are lots of people in a confined space.
After many many discussions with vaccine rejectors, i conclude that while some of them have legitimate fears none of them are interested in the facts, the science and the reality of covid vaccines. They've simply closed their minds to the evidence so that they can remain cocooned and when challenged they ignore the evidence, tangent off into all sorts of irrelevance, keep shifting the goal post and always circling back to the prevailing myths and misinformation or the rare instances that support their contention that covid vaccines kill and are dangerous, but even then they misread and misinterpret and use illogic such as strawman or synecdoche to make causative connections where none exist.
"They've simply closed their minds to the evidence so that they can remain cocooned and when challenged they ignore the evidence, tangent off into all sorts of irrelevance, keep shifting the goal post and always circling back to the prevailing myths and misinformation " This is correct, Chairman ! Billy Shatine is a perfect example ~
