That's right! I remember reading about Easter Island may years ago when I was young and totally dispirited as a result, depressed and unhappy. This is all life has to offer I thought, total social collapse, cannibalism and human extinction. I remember Jared Diamond well, a Jewish author whose speciality was this kind of dispiriting claptrap.

I was given Diamond to read at school and to make presentation on a book of his. I believed him. But later on I was saved, came to see what was happening in the world big time, that there were a few people in the world trying to own everything in the world, to own the whole world itself......
