Nikki came out of a very difficult situation and has built a very good life for herself.
Nikki is building her own family in the process, and a very solid good looking family it is.
I am no impressed by the fact that she is from Trinidad. I have no particular love for Trinidad nor Trinidadians. Being Trinidadian is of no particular advantage to its citizens, in my estimation is generally a hindrance and a keep back, a factor of existential retardation not advancement.

for those women to make it through, then to build a family on top of that is enormous achievement, given that in most cases they did not come from full families themselves...or good families, when the families were intact
