We need to accept that there are not only 2 political POVs. If you do not support APNU it does not automatically mean you are PPP. The political landscape has changed. We need to consciously recognize this.
We have noted the circulation of a document titled "A case for a non-declaration" in which Vincent Alexander shamelessly advocates for the non-declaration of the March 2nd, 2020 General and Regional elections results. We are happy that this document which is a rehash of APNU+AFC propaganda, was rejected by the Chair on June 16, when she instructed the CEO to prepare his report based on the results of the recount.
It should be noted that the CCJ has ruled emphatically that any such move is illegal. He should be ashamed of himself for trying to get the Commission to act unlawfully.
Alexander's renewed efforts clearly point to an enduring role he has pursued in relentlessly undermining the constitution and Guyana’s democracy while yet an APNU+AFC nominated Commissioner at GECOM receiving taxpayer's money.
