you are now dealing with an undeclared military coup.

Many are questioning the length of time – one full week – the CCJ gives itself to render a decision on the case before them today. Not me. I think the decision to take that amount of time makes sense, well thought out, and brilliant in many ways. Why so? A huge consideration before these Justices, is what happens immediately after the decision is announced. Will there be riots? Civil unrest? Mass protests? Violence? The Justices would rather not see any of that, and this is their best shot at preventing it, in my view. Think about it. What is the best and most effective way to avoid violence and unrest, and have a peaceful transition in Guyana right now? Exactly. The most effective way to accomplish that, is for Granger to concede, and speak presidentially to the country. What the Justices did in effect, is gave him time – 7 days – to do just that. I suspect, during that time, there will be many conversations between Granger and other heads of states, his peers – from Caricom countries, to OAS countries, to Commonwealth countries, to ABCE countries - encouraging him to do the right thing, i.e., concede, thereby avoiding potential riots. The Justices gave Granger an out, a lifeline, to secure his legacy. He has 7 days. Other heads of states, his peers, will be talking to him. Its his legacy to secure, or Burnham 2.0.

AFTER LOSING AN ELECTION AND WITHOUT THE FORMAL DECLARATION OF THE RESULTS, HONEST AND DECENT LEADERS CONCEDE DEFEAT; BUT SANCTIMONIOUS GANGSTERS SAY: I NEVER CLAIMED VICTORY AND CANNOT CONCEDE DEFEAT!
