West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell has been included in the squad for the fourth and fifth ODI versus England. Currently, the series is interesingly poised at 1-1, and if hosts manage to take a 2-1 lead then they would fancy their chances of claiming the series in Russell's presence come the penultimate encounter. Russell's performance will be closely monitored with the selectors' mind firmly invested for the 2019 World Cup squad.

Russell last played an ODI for West Indies during their home series versus Bangladesh in July, 2018. He was not seen in action during the India-West Indies home series. The swashbuckling all-rounder is just two short of amassing 1,000 runs in the format and has 65 wickets under his belt. On the other hand, chairman of West Indies cricket selection panel -- Courtney Browne -- has stated that pacer Kemar Roach has withdrawn from the remainder of the series citing back injury.

Looking at him in the PSL as a Sultan with Multan !
looks fat, bowling crap and bat pretty silent !
think he played 4 matches so far...in T20 mode ~

dont look match fit for the 50 over format !

Bring Guyana's Clinton Pestano :S

All-rounder Andre Russell will miss three PSL clashes at least.

Russell will replace the injured Kemar Roach in the West Indies squad for the fourth and fifth ODIs
with the pacer sidelined with a stress reaction to the back.

Check this out in the article : fallacy ?

" Recurring problems with his knee have meant that the all-rounder has had to reduce his bowling workload
but his explosive batting down the order remains too big an asset to ignore for the West Indies "
