WEST Indies fast bowler Shannon Gabriel has been charged by the International Cricket Council (ICC) following an incident with England captain Joe Root.

Gabriel was warned by the umpires for the language he used on day three of the third Test in St Lucia.

Sky Sports posted a clip of Root responding to a comment from Gabriel by saying: “Don’t use it as an insult. There’s nothing wrong with being gay.”
Gabriel, 30, has been charged with breaching the ICC’s code of conduct.

Trini speak ?? I said to Joe Root:

'Why are you smiling at me? Do you like boys?'

"His response, which was picked up by the microphone, was
: 'Don't use it as an insult. There's nothing wrong with being gay.'

I then responded:
'I have no issues with that, but you should stop smiling at me.'"

For the record I disagree with any Apology
and ICC and that racist Crow, can piss orf !

3 demerit points and a 75% match fine ?
Gabriel already had 5 demerit points so this took him to 8
which corresponds to 4 suspension points
that cud be served as 2 Test Matches
4 ODI
or T20s
or a combination of all three.

an Australian wig on his chin, imitating, he thought, Hashim Amla
the South Africa batsman who sports a beard as a proud display of his Muslim faith
