Barbados name strong squad to oppose Guyana in regional first-class Championship

Bridgetown, Barbados, January 1 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Nine players with international experience are in the Barbados Pride 13-man squad named tonight for the third round regional first-class match against title holders Guyana Jaguars at Kensington Oval, January 4-7.

The nine are fast bowling all-rounder Jason Holder, who is the West Indies Test and One-Day International captain, opening batsman Kraigg Brathwaite, batsman Jonathan Carter, batting all-rounder Roston Chase, who bowls off-spin, wicket-keeper/batsman Shane Dowrich, off-spinner Ashley Nurse, fast bowlers Kemar Roach and Miguel Cummins and left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican.

Shamarh Brooks (captain), Kraigg Brathwaite, Jonathan Carter, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich, Keon Harding, Jason Holder, Aaron Jones, Shayne Moseley, Ashley Nurse, Kemar Roach, Jomel Warrican.
