Klay Thompson set an NBA record with 14 3-pointers as part of an NBA-season-high 52-point performance, and the visiting Golden State Warriors stormed to a 149-124 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.
allyuh pinch my rarse an' wake mih up! how in the hell did Detroit lose their game?
I tuned out and went to another game because I thought Detroit had that game won. they were leading by 3 with 22 seconds to go.
Brooklyn had the ball. Brooklyn managed to score 3 points, tie the game go in to over time and win the game.
how in the hell did that happen? all that Detroit had to do was to foul for 2 points..then get the ball back and hide it for the win..unless Brooklyn decided to foul too which would really put them behind the 8-ball.
Dwayne Casey's fault. Detroit shud not have lost that game. its Detroit's third straight loss just like that
Frank is in the tank, and Knicks coach David Fizdale may make another move at point guard.
Starter Frank Ntilikina was benched after the gameโs first 5 minutes, 45 seconds Sunday, never seeing the court again in the 115-89 humiliation by Orlando as Trey Burke started the second half.
After playing poorly on offense in five of the previous six games, Ntilikinaโs start against the Magic put Fizdale over the edge.
The 6-foot-7 Frenchman was 0-for-3 with two turnovers, including an unnecessary offensive foul as he tried to back in D.J. Augustin when he could have easily just shot over the 6-0 defender. Ntilikina got the hook after throwing the ball away with the Knicks down 14-2. He also had trouble chasing the quick Augustin on defense.
LeBron James passed Wilt Chamberlain -- another all-time great who joined the Los Angeles Lakers in the latter stages of his career -- for fifth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list Wednesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.
James tied Chamberlain on an and-1 runner with 3:55 left in the fourth quarter and passed him on the ensuing free throw. James finished the game with 44 points -- his first 40-point game of the season and the most by a Laker since Kobe Bryant scored 60 in his career finale -- and he now has 31,425 points for his career. James added 10 rebounds and 9 assists in Los Angeles' 126-117 win at Staples Center.
