Exactly. America is a nation sublimated by an alien organism called Empire that roosts atop it. The military, even the currency, is in service to the organism. In many respects, America has the most unanswerable institutions on Earth.
It’s also more accurate to think of Empire not as a succession of discrete rises-and-falls, but rather as a vulture that descends and alights on one people after another. Thinks of Daniel’s statue, a constituent construction that is identifiable as a recognizable human form nonetheless.
The vulture grows on the power of usury. That’s why we call it International Capital, a transnational agglomeration of ever-increasing wealth and power. The underlying nation (which is allowed to enjoy the status and cache of being the Empire-of-the-moment) is never enriched by the vulture’s stay, but rather is picked unto fiscal collapse. I believe Katherine Austin Fitts uses a tapeworm analogy. That works.
The American people are victims, hardly beneficiaries, of Pax Americana. As recompense they are allowed to glory in the prowess of ‘their nation’. They are hopelessly nourished on Clint Eastwood military industrial false-consciousness-producing movies (our era’s Leni Riefenstahl.)
Poor bastards, all in all.

Trump steel tariffs to hit these 8 countries the hardest — and China isn’t one of them
The news stunned an already jittery Wall Street and stoked fresh worries that other countries will retaliate, raising the odds of a trade war that could harm the economies of all involved. U.S. stocks DJIA, +1.13% fell sharply on Thursday and sank again in early Friday trades.
Trump added to an anxiety by suggesting in another tweet that a trade war would be “easy to win.”

Us Steel is the most durable steel in the world. I would like to see niche products being made with Us Steel instead of war products. Hover boards would of lasted if it was made with Us Steel. Computers will last longer if built with Usa Steel. Lets face it, if you made something in the 1960's it lasted much longer than the products that are made today.
Gotta love an Amrica TRADE WAR

“You can cuss out colonialism, imperialism, and all other kinds of ‘ism,’ but it’s hard for you to cuss that dollarism. When they drop those dollars on you, your soul goes.” –Malcolm X
Wow, this is a pretty lengthy video.
