A spring nor'easter targeted the Northeast on Wednesday with strong winds and heavy, wet snow, threatening to cause travel chaos and power outages across the region. The flight-tracking site FlightAware reported more than 3,770 canceled flights within, into, or out of the U.S. on Wednesday with more than 60 percent of those to and from the New York City area airports. American Airlines said it would suspend operations at La Guardia Airport after 11 a.m. Wednesday. On the ground, Amtrak scaled back service and canceled dozens of trains on the Northeast corridor.
