We need attacking fearless guys like Hetmeyer and Blackwood.
punto, finale.
its not to change Blackwood's style as such but raise his common sense level..if that is possible that is what is needed re Blackwood.
shot selection..state of the game and what is required of him at the crease..that is what shud underpin and influence a Blackwood flexibility at the crease. it is not smart to be straight attack regardless. that is recipe for failure. that does not take into consideration what the opposition has planned for him
no matter who you are you have been studied and plans made to get you out. that is secondary for batsmen. they must know that and that alone should make them watchful in response when they out to bat. that alone should alter their batting attitude. I mean before you go out to bat you and the brain trust must have worked out the opposition and what they are likely to be doing with the resources they have at their disposal
so I never understood Blackwood's approach and the obvious lack of strategy with the team that underpins Blackwood's efforts. you keep you ability to attack..develop that ability to its max. but you do the same with you defense and most critically with you head, your brains.
its the same with Ambris and Hetmeyer. the cWI brain trust should know these youth and what they need and provide that for them. and by now Blackwood does have some experience that should have influenced his approach positively. It makes no sens that he is not scoring. by now with his experience Blackwood should developed enough to be batting ave at #3 taking the pressure of Hetmeyer.
dat shud have been the plan anyway. why the hell do we have to put Hetmeyer at 3 with no experience at all, ahead of Blackwood?

Blackwood has not progressed at all that's why. in fact he has regressed and is out of the team. which failure exposes the cWI brain trust for what it is...blasted incompetent
