I dont know...perhaps its there. but we do have to worry about the quality of current African governments..the ANC in this case. Jacob Zuma's ANC is a trap government, a sell out satrapy using everything to distract the people from government corruption.
I don't know but that could be a way of infiltration of a 'new colonization'...under real political presshah at home, and looking for all forrin support to prop itself up, the ANC could easily lend itself to Chinese machinations.
and most African governments are like that..under political pressure for their corruption and lack of nationalism, they sell out to forriners for the backing they need to stay in power

what is really interesting is what appears to be an incredible curriculum for those kids..that looks really tough challenging stuff.
they are dealing everyday with at least 3 languages of which English is one. then an african language plus their own south african dialect of which there are Afrikaaans-the dutch based thing..and regular South African African languages
now add Mandarin.....
those children are handling all of that plus regular 'must' school subjects. really eh!
they appear to be happy, on top of it all. oh man! those children will be super..absolutely super as they grow, far superior to any european/American children.
in another generation or 2 African children will leave the west in their dust, ketch up with and prolly surpass the Chinese themselves

but the children are amazing. that is probably a significant fact on the ground right there. those kids are going to be in the world functioning at truly high levels
the white man was/is a murderous colonizer. he imposed French and Englisn. Africans spoke those languages, still speak them but they are still there living, acting, in their own best interest, still in with a chance.
the white killer colonizer is passing from the scene, being pushed back into his borders. and as he is woe to those now trapped inside those borders, his own citizens who will be the only populations left for him to plunder and enslave.
in another 50 years, western Europe/USA/Canada/Australia/New Zealan... should all look like prison colonies, huge police state gulags, all inside imprisoned, vaccinated, micro chipped, poisoned by ill health... and already on their second generation of biologically engineered citizens...eating biologically engineered foods. good for them.
but the fact is despite European pressure and speaking their languages Africa has not been extinguished. it is still there with a chance. the population is expanding and there are now high levels of economic growth.
where French and English failed, are now languages Africans use among the 2 or 3 all of them speak, making them very facile in the world, Mandarin wont succeed either. what does not kill you makes you stronger. that is what they say. Mandarin will only increase African facility in the world.
and as they develop Africans will deal successfully with their traitorous, bureaucratic Political/Capitalist class, toss those skunts and dem, and proceed to real democracy whereby and with which I hope they accomplish a return to the true golden age of the 'Old Darkland' in which the perfection of society, of their democracy, was the social goal.
that was the first and only true golden age humanity ever created, experienced, in which there was real democracy, the people were happy, and incredible works were achieved like all the wonders they have left behind.
it is time to return to a golden age, to build real democracy once again at this high technological level' making a true human security while launching out to wherever we can go in the universe. we will have to seed the universe with humans to achieve indefinite human survival
Africa has the actual experience of having created a golden human age..and a few near golden ages. Africa/Africans have the pedigree to lead humanity back but forward to survival in universal conditions, in answer to the question: how does humanity survive indefinitely, in an evolutionary universe
