Carmelo Anthony and wife La La have separated, per report

New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and his wife, La La, are living separately after an “amicable” split, according to a report from TMZ.

Carmelo and La La, an actress and TV personality, married in 2010 and have a 10-year-old son, Kiyan. Per the TMZ report, La La has moved out of the family’s home into an apartment of her own in New York City.

TMZ writes that Carmelo’s turbulent season with the Knicks put a strain on the marriage:

He's been basically irrelevant on a national level ever since he got to New York. He hasn't been able to make that team a contender, which was kinda the whole point of him going there. Too bad he forced his way out of Denver.
