hence the push at this stage for cashless to deepen social control
[/quote] And what is so wrong with that . Let us take Russia as an example . During the Boris Yeltsin  years , corruption was rampant . Life expectancy was reduced to 50 years. State assets were given away and some well connected became billionaires overnight . George Soros had influence . Along came Vladimir Putin . Media was seized .Billionaires assets were taken away and some like Khadorski was imprisoned , Berezoski fled to England and  the rest was in servitude to Putin    .
Vladimir Putin exercises social control . Is that wrong ?When Putin came to power Russia
GDP was 200 billi0n dollars , Today it is 2 trillion. ..Social control? ... A lesson for Modi

Trump acknowledges Russia role in U.S. election hacking: aide

#70
President-elect Donald Trump accepts the U.S. intelligence community's conclusion that Russia engaged in cyber attacks during the U.S. presidential election and may take action in response, his incoming chief of staff said on Sunday.Reince Priebus said Trump believed Russia was behind the intrusions into the Democratic Party organizations, although Priebus did not clarify whether the president-elect agreed that the hacks were directed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. "He accepts the fact that this particular case was entities in Russia, so that's not the issue," Priebus said on "Fox News Sunday."
