The PPP was in office for 133 days in 1953, in office from 1957 until 1964

when they were cheated out,

and in 1992 Cheddi was the President until 1997.....

Where are the so called communist programs ?
[/quote]

So please give us a historical understanding as to WHY the Communist manifesto along with

Karl Marx's doctrines are firmly embedded in Cheddi's PPP constitution....' til Today

Because , IF we listen to you and Goog Lee ....he said one thing and practiced another :

which does NOT compute :

I understand that Dentistry is an exact science  ...

Manifestos are hogwash, just a lot of promises that are never fulfilled.

Features of the writings of Marx can be found in the constitutions of many organisations whichchampion the causes of the working class.....the PPP is not unique in this regards.....

Many trade unions in the USA also have " Marxist " ideas embedded in them.....the mere thought of workers uniting and fighting for their rights are some of the fundemantals of  " communist " ideology......

It is ironic to note that President Franklin Rooseveld , a capitalist , in trying to introduce the new deal in post depression America was deemed a communist..... FDR supported the works of the trade unioun in America......many of his advisors were described as communist......his cooperation with the USSR against Hitler was described as communistic......the anti communist paranoia followed shortly both in the USA and overseas including Guyana......

MC ,

thanks for your USA comparison ....

So i am left here after your reply ....thinking that Cheddi only preached Marxism/Leninism

BUT did not practice it :

In other words , He did NOT practice what he preached .......

Makes sense now that we were subjected to 28 years of Dictatorship.
