Elsenham fire destroys cricket pavillion

A [color=rgb(0, 153, 0)]cricket[/color] club pavilion has been destroyed by fire in Elsenham.
Firefighters were called to Stansted and Elsenham's cricket club ground in Henham Road after reports that a fire had broken out shortly before [color=rgb(0, 153, 0)]10[/color].30pm on Sunday night (October 23).
When crews arrived they reported that the wooden-framed building, which measured 20m by 10m, was completely alight.
Firefighters from Stansted, Newport and Thaxted battled the blaze, extinguishing it at 1am.
