Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James endorsed Hillary Clinton for president on Sunday evening. “[I]f basketball has taught me anything, it’s that no one achieves greatness alone. And it takes everyone working together to create real change,” he explained in an op-ed published both online and in the Akron Beacon Journal. “When I look at this year’s presidential race, it’s clear which candidate believes the same thing. Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty. And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear. That candidate is Hillary Clinton.” Without ever mentioning Donald Trump’s name, James laid out why he believes Clinton is the person with solutions for four key issues: improving public schools, expanding access to health care, making college “a reality for more people in America,” and addressing the violence “of every kind” being experienced by the black community.

I don't really like LeBron you know.  I did at first.  I like how he married his teenage girl, have a nice family, does not fool around and so on.

and he certainly can play basketball.

but an antipathy on part for him had been growing all along and I did not know why.  now I do! >Sad >Sad >Sad
