Catholic vs Public: Schools

so I went to catholic school too. have no other school to compare it with/to.


I hated that we were forced to go to confession and to attend mass every feast day.  also, while most of the nuns were sweet and kind, i know of at least two who were quite mean.  one in particular put me to kneel on gravel in the hot sun for speaking in class while she was teaching.  my dad wanted to go there and strangle her.


despite all of the above, i came out quite well.

the nuns even taught us how to sit down decoriously (sp) on the toilet to pee.
