Great Respect : WICB President

   

Some senior players, including Dwayne Bravo, have blasted Cameron in the past.

Bravo, following West Indies’ World T20 victory earlier this year, hit out

at the WICB head, calling him ‘immature’, ‘arrogant’, and ‘small-minded’.

And, in a post-game speech that laid heavily into the management of the board,

the then captain of the team, Darren Sammy blasted Cameron

for not visiting the team’s hotel before the finals in India.

“I’ve always had a lot of respect for the talents of our players and former players

and that’s why we do what we do. I’ve been in cricket for well over 35 years;

it’s not something I started doing last week, so I have a very great

and deep appreciation for the game and for our legends,

which is why I do what I do.”
