, New Zealand have firm grip of proceedings at Bulawayo. The start Guptill and Latham provided has put them in a commanding position already and they are set for more. Guptill couldn’t reach three figures but was brilliant while he was at the wicket. Latham though looks set for a big one. With Williamson beside him, the duo will look to build on the partnership and add to Zimbabwe’s misery.
BJ Watling is a vastly underrated wicketkeeper, IMO.
Nice stat courtesy of ESPN: "A day ahead of his 26th birthday, Kane Williamson became the youngest batsman to score a century against all other Test countries"
By my count, Williamson becomes the 13th player to score a century against the other 9 Test teams:
Gary Kirsten [South Africa] 2002
Steve Waugh [Australia] 2003
Sachin Tendulkar [India] 2004
Rahul Dravid [India] 2004
Marvan Atapattu [Sri Lanka] 2005
Brian Lara [West Indies] 2005
Adam Gilchrist [Australia] 2006
Ricky Ponting [Australia] 2006
Kumar Sangakkara [Sri Lanka] 2007
Mahela Jayawardene [Sri Lanka] 2009
Jacques Kallis [South Africa] 2012
Younis Khan [Pakistan] 2014
Kane Williamson [New Zealand] 2016
