World T20 winning captain Darren Sammy has been replaced as captain of the West Indies T20 team by Barbadian Carlos Brathwaite.
The all rounder who smacked four sixes in the final over of the world T20 finals in India against England to lift the title is the man who has been recommended by the West Indies senior selection panel for the top job. The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) is more than likely to approve the choice of Brathwaite.
T20 is cowlasher cricket, and Sammy is a good last-minute cowlasher, regardless of what his stats say.
The WICB should have given the captaincy to Pollard or Russell (amazing ton in a knock out CPL game) or kept Sammy and let Carlos vice-captain under him for six months, then ditch Sammy and give it to Carlos.

how is Carlos better than Sammy ::confused::
he is not a better player than Sammy...Sammy is a way better captain..Carlos has little experience as captain.
and if Sammy is 32 he is 32 and ready, does not have to learn, is fully experienced.
what is Carlos..28 years old and not ready ::confused:: ::confused:: that is just 4 years younger than Sammy with no appreciable advantage over Sammy as player..maybe he can hit a long ball harder than Sammy
I don't see the point at all!
maybe that Dowrich and Chase appear to be working out Skourtney is emboldened to proceed with the Bajanification of west indies cricket. he is Bajanifying everything.
Skourtney is begginning to behave like a computer program that has gorne rogue..turning everything he touches into himself ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL::
