TT Under-15s beats Guyana and win regional title

THE NATIONAL Under-15 cricketers sealed the West Indies Cricket Board Regional Under-15 50-over title with a four-wicket win in the final round against Guyana in Tanteen, Grenada, yesterday.

It was a virtual final between first placed Trinidad and Tobago and second placed Guyana in the final round yesterday.
TT reduced Guyana to a modest 103 all out batting first.
In reply TT got to 104/6 to prevail and secure the title. TT finished the tournament unbeaten winning all five of their matches.
The triumphant bunch will return home at 6.40am today

Well done and good for the Guyanans showing some consistency and reaching the finals.

It's always good for the development of the sport when a young team goes on to in titles and trophies. While a lot of people say that in some countries the amount of young people taking up cricket is falling, I do think that there is still enough interest in the sport to show that their is still life in cricket, and the future of the game is brighter than what a lot of people think.
