I think sometimes as women we can be too trusting and too willing to believe the lies that abusers tell us. When you genuinely love someone, you always want to see the best in them and believe that they can change and become a better person. Unfortunately that is not always the case as demonstrated by this story. So, so sad and yet it's behavior that is rampant all over the world.
I can never hit a child, I always told myself that if I were that kid, would I want to be hit. There are so many parents out there who think that are punishing their kids by hitting them, and this is supposed to be a great way to get them to obey, but it's bullying to me.
You hit someone else when you don't like something they did, but then call it parenting so it's accepted.

I hear you. We have a lot of sadistic people in the world running around abusing children and taking out their frustrations on them and calling it parenting. It makes me sick. When we hit children, we are teaching them that it's alright to use brute force to get someone to do what you want. That is bullying. No wonder there are rising numbers of bullying cases in all schools all around the world.
