"I haven't felt any pressure for the last three or four years," Ramdin told a Jamaican radio station on Friday (July 8). "I felt a bit surprised, but I have no choice but to live by the decision of the higher authority. I don't own cricket, and, well, I have to go back to my game in the regional four day-set up and come again.
"It seems like I'm not a senior player who has done well over the years. However, I've been down that road before and come back and done very well, so I think the process is easy," he said.

This is not only insularity at its worst in West Indies cricket but smacks of racism as well, although I know that the usual suspects rake me over the coals for telling it like it is. Had there really been a serious contender then Ramdin's exclusion would have been foregone but who among the others stack up? None!
Seems like as our cricket takes one step forwards, it takes two steps back.
