Carlos Brathwaite attracting interest from BBL teams

Brathwaite's continued growth and good form with bat and ball has gained the attention of the Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes.

"We made contact with him (Brathwaite) before the World Cup," Michael Roberts, Hurricanes recruitment officer, told The Daily Telegraph on Friday (May 6). Having never played in the BBL, Brathwaite has publicly declared his desire to play in Australia's burgeoning Twenty20 competition. "That's also a dream," Brathwaite told The Daily Telegraph in the aftermath of the World T20. "I'm available. Whatever opportunities arise, I'm available."

Brathwaite's strike-rate in this years IPL is a stonking 260.86 - the highest of any batsman with a minimum of three innings.
