Lucara (LUCRF), the Canadian company that owns the diamond

called it the biggest diamond found in more than 100 years.

Lesedi la Rona, the diamond's name means

"Our Light" in Setswana, the national language of Botswana.

An 1109-carat diamond : It's the size of a tennis ball.

To believe they would name a shiny rock "our light" is kind of ridiculous, that's a lot of money though, still I wouldn't call such a silly thing the light of any country.

The company that discovered the diamond must have been partying since. ::LOL::

And it's really huge. A tennis ball size is a hefty chunk of millions of years old worth of mineral. Now let's guess which stuffs are going  to do with it. Luxury commodities for eccentric insanely rich? Diamond knives? Queen's new toothpaste?

I say the Queen took the last find and it  now sits on the Royal something

Dunno whom else !
