Trans Guests Welcome in Target Bathrooms

Target announced Tuesday that transgender employees and customers are welcome to use any fitting rooms or restrooms that they feel comfortable in. With several states proposing and passing anti-LGBT “religious freedom” laws, the company said in a statement, “we felt it was important to state our position.” The statement added, “We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

I like how big brands and companies are also starting to open up about important issues.

They recognize that losing a few bigots with these new policies are nothing, when you support the  people who really needs it.

Good move. Eventually tolerance triumphs over bigotry in society. They have to adapt or else  they face the risk of losing a great deal of customers. Of course, this is going to infuriate a lot of republicans, christian and conservatives...
