A decent performance out of Afghanistan with the bat, especially at the end, though it looks like Sri Lanka are going to chase this down quite comfortably. This has been a great start to the tournament for some of the golden oldies: Gayle, Afridi and now Dilshan.

A spirited performance out of Afghanistan and although their fielding was a little rough around the edges, they have absolutely shown that they are worthy of being on this stage. I mentioned it previously, but as things currently stand, Afghanistan are more deserving of full Test status than Zimbabwe.

SL's victory though comprehensive as it may seems was never going to be that easy on a slow pitch with a bit of turn! SL's class clear!
