that point has to do with the what must be done in response to this last and final failure of capitalism:  popular take over of industry/society as a whole

this quote is from an argument I ma having with a supporter of the status quo over the Failure of Maduro in Venezuela.  he has failed becuse he has betrayed the principles of the Chavista revolution.  he will not go left.  he is a pink capitalist reformer not a progressive democrat

Chavez himself was the same in the end...and had he lived he would have ultimately brought about his own rejection by the people who are ready to go all the way..but their leadership is not

Go left young man..go to the left as far left as is required by honest, factual social analysis of the day.  that is the required solution  NOW!  the Labour party is still too far behind..but maybe they will make fast dramatic progress and spell out the most advanced program possible to the people, win and election and implement that program:  move now to emplace labour in charge of industry.  eliminate all forrin financial control in national economies...eliminate debt as the means of money creation..reduce banking to a small entities public service where necessary that merely pays for itself eliminating the profit in baking.

where high banking functions are necessary at the national level, in relation to huge banks that may continue to exist for a time in the world..and for all such intercourse with other national governments... spruce  up the national treasury for that work..no private banks acting in the national interest are necessary...

from the overall perspective of the a social reality in which the ordinary people are dominant all these questions can be approached in many ways without compromising that dominant popular interest.

Chavz/Maduro had a classic opportunity to go all the way and they did not.  they were to use the past tense with both a little pinker shade of Roosevelt and the great capitalist reformers.  they dd not and do not want to get rid of capitalism.  they still think it can work....that they can make it work.  but I expect more leftist leaders in Venezueala to arise and toss Maduro by the wayside.  either way he is toast, a foot note as he most surely will be defeated next election.  he may have been Chavez's man but Maduro is not a man dfor this day

Yeah, her face was worth watching when people applauded Bernie at the debate. I hope he wins more states - if a new form of a business organization has to emerge, Bernie will be the one to create it and not Hillary.

no system works when greed takes over.  be it capitalism, socialism, etc.  It is not the system that is the problem but the human greedy element!
