IPL pays hefty amounts of money to the players. Some percentage of the money goes to the cricketing boards of that the players represent. We all know the [un]friendly relations between the WI cricket board and the star players. Obviously the players do not want their hard earned money to the board. So how are these payments done? In what forms? How are they still kept legal? Can anyone throw some light on it?

IPL is normally late arriving at the Crease

Accounts Receiveable waits on upstairs "clearing house": using ball tracker technology

Accountant then calculate the deduction via an Excel spreadsheet .

The Comptroller then prepares the Board's cheque with a howzzz dattt !

The Signing officers are usually at an Arbitration dispute so its a "NOT ready"

tbc....

Board loses Arbitration and must pay awards to Simmons , Sarwan and Deonarine

Auditor check to see IF they are named on disbursement by IPL

Finally , Receiveables... realised that Sammy and Sunil were CUT .

sent to the Chartered accounting Firm for an expert reconciliation .

Meanwhile BraBits and PollyPieces apply for a Line Of Credit

using IPL receiveable as Collateral !

Approval waiting...... on a Copy of the IPL cheque from the Board.

Dre Russ anticipating this with BBL as well : submit his application for the LOC

he was asked to chillax with a "no problem, Mon"

while they contact the Board.

He then asks Gayle for a "brace"

Some of the players should not be concerned about hard earned going to the board because they are not really contributing to earnings. It's because of the contractual agreements why there is any money. If the earnings were mostly forthcoming through their performances, they there would not be very much in the coffers.
