I don't have as many miles as the OP, but I've been surprised by this phenomenon as well. Then again, I take really good care of myself and work out, but whenever I'm back at my alma mater to do some work, or I go to visit the young man that I mentor, I attract a lot of attention. It's a boost to the ego, definitely. And I think it depends on where you are--I live in NYC, and here I've found the women to be MUCH more forward in terms of signaling their interest in you than in other places.

My missus response  would be  to any woman that comes on to me "You can keep the  son of a bitch"
