West Indies wicketkeeper Dinesh Ramdin has backed spinner Devendra Bishoo to be a threat to the Sri Lanka batsmen in the upcoming Test series.

Sri Lanka host the Windies in two Tests, starting in Galle on Wednesday, and spin will be a key factor in determining who will win the contest.

Even though the Asian side are good players of spin, Ramdin is backing Bishoo to rise to the challenge after the 29 year-old recovered from his recent finger injury.

Ramdin said: "Since Bishoo has been recalled into the Test team he has been bowling well. I would say he is bowling a lot of wicket taking balls. He is testing the batsmen a lot more.

"In the Caribbean the pitches were spinning and bouncing which he got some purchase and hopefully he is going to get some here as well in the sub continent.

"He is going to be challenged by these guys who play in their back yard so it's going to be a good contest for him and he is going to do well.

"I have no doubt about that and the rest of bowlers just need to back him up and he has recovered fully with his finger as well."

Ramdin talks crap : Where is Bishoo tandem Partner . V.Permaul  ???

separating the Twins , and installing a debutant Warrican is an assinine move !!

Both bowled a combine 16 overs for Zero wicket. >Sad

If a West Indies spinner does well then you feel that the Sri Lankan spinner will do even better.

So.....................

#4
So what ?

Lanka OWN those grounds and know where to pitch the offies....

Separating the most successful SPIN tandem in the Caribbean is a SILLY move

#5
So...............................

If Bishoo bowls well on a pitch favoring spin then the Sri Lanka spinners will bowl even better.

Get into your head that what I posted was in response to the post by Prince NOT in response to anything you posted.

I DO NOT CARE whether Permaul is there or not there.

Permaul being there WILL MAKE NO F U C K I N G difference to this WI team.
