When Amerindians realized they were being enslaved and sent to the coast and to Barbados, they fought back.

The British built two forts in Rupununi, one in the North and one in the South Rupununi, giving the South to catholics and

the North to the anglicans. Then they build the missions. As soon as that was done the soldiers from the fort went hunting Amerindians over the Savannah. They would slaughter the old people right away and capture the younger men as slaves.

Then they slaughter the women and took the young girls back to the missions they build, to be the sex slaves for the soldiers and missionaries and to convert them, those in the North as anglicans and those in the South to catholics. So what we know as 'Amerindians Villages' today are really christian missions.

Find me an Amerindian leader who is not christian today and I will find you a Guyanese who don't know our National Anthem,

i.e they don't exist. . Amerindians were converted and assimilated into the body politic of the then State of British Guiana.

Many Amerindians fled to Brazil and they were murdered there in a genocide we only are hearing about today because the Brazilians conveniently 'lost' the report they made on the genocide for 40 years.

But we found it now. you were never taught that history by the British, did you?

and if I get deleted for this you will never know.
