It was nice to see Geraint Jones go out on a high note. Even at 37, Sangakkara is a class above everyone else.

Yet another century for Sangakkara today for Surrey, his fifth championship hundred of the season. His county championship average for the season now stands at 47.83.

Both have a very bright future ahead of them. Sam is barely out of nappies and still at college! They do have some pretty good genes, so their success should not be too surprising, it's just a shame their Dad is not here to see them blossom.

In August 2005, he replaced Phil Simmons as national coach, a position he held till 2007.Curran was the coach of the Mash Eagles team

when he died at the age of 53, after collapsing while jogging in Mutare.

Older brother Tom has been rewarded for his fantastic season - 105 wickets in all competitions - with a call up to the England Performance Programme for the training camps in South Africa and the UAE.
