State of emergency has been declared by California governor, after thousands have been forced to leave their homes owing to wildfires. Fires in the North California are owed to years of drought and hot weather and about $202m have been spent in fighting these flames since July onwards.
The fire has consumed 275 homes and buildings and claimed the lives of 4 firefighters as well. Some firefighters have continuously been trying to tackle the huge fire from a week now, where one blaze that started off in the Valley Fire in Lake County on Saturday has already burned 40,000 acres with fears of reaching MiddleTown where 1,500 residents were asked to evacuate their homes. On the Eastern areas about 4,000 firefighters are fighting the huge flames in Calaveras and Amador from Wednesday onwards.
