5th Investec Test: England vs Australia at The Oval
England new number three in Tests. Pakistan will now need to beat Eng 1-0 or better to become number three, 2-0 or better to become number 2
Rogers: Don't get emotional normally, but having the honour of finishing alongside an Aussie great feels fantastic.
And now the stage will be assembled in front of the VIPs so the plebs can't see the presentation ceremony.
timmyj wanted to see the Ceremony : steeped in Traditionย ::LOL::
3-2
Atleast Aus managed to savage some pride.
4-1 would have catapulted ENgland to No :2.
@dilly can you confirm the stats and ranking now ?

England jump up three places to third in the rankings thanks to their Ashes victory.
As a side note, I am thrilled that England won't have to face Chris Rogers again. He tormented England bowlers right from his first Test, and finished his career with an average of 48.51 against them. Incredibly, 65% of his career Test runs came against England.

I guess there will be a reshuffling among the pack, now that SL have lost second test against india.
Good luck against Bangladesh,aussies.
The disappointing thing for Aussies must have been the way the English bowlers snapped up wickets.Broad had a 8-for,Anderson, Stokes and Finn all got 6-fers.
None of the Aussie bowlers, except siddle could get a bag of wickets.
Still,good series.
,good for cricket.
I too read about Rogers just now,a lot more stats on cricinfo.
Should give it a read.
