What about his own display? Was he absent?

His own performance wasn't something to be proud of too. Following suit, he got out pretty quickly and didn't offer any resistance to the English pace battery. Along with the other Aussie batsmen, he showed considerable lack of application in trying circumstances.

Well the English team has done it once again on home soil. This Australian team is a mere shadow of the great Australian team from the last decade. Clarke is not a strong enough leader and the players seem to not have the will to fight and win.

                                             

There are rumours this morning that Clarke will announce his retirement at the end of the series.

Coach Lehman should be even more embarassed !

What kinda Batting strategy was that  : Go Hard At Swing Bowling !
