T20I: England vs New Zealand at Old Trafford

Munro goes second ball attempting a big heave-ho off Stokes. 4 down. Ronchi in. WASP gives New Zealand a 31% chance to win from here. It was an even 50% two overs earlier.

90 from 10 is Doable !

Ronci exits as i type  :-[

50 to Kane

belted Stokes !!

72 off 45 needed !

This is going to come down to the last ball. I can feel it. Santner goes. Big wicket for Wood. Williamson still at the crease.

Gone. Run out. Williamson out. Brilliant piece of fielding by Willey. England haven't been that sharp in the field today but came up big when they needed it.

Southee out first ball. England fans in full voice. A huge over from Wood. 3 wickets in the over. England on the verge of victory now.

131/8

McCullum chips one short long leg. Simple catch for Finn. 135/9 (16.1 ovs). 57 needed from 23 balls.

McClenaghan out. It's all over. New Zealand lose their last 5 wickets for 4 runs in 11 deliveries. Great to see the youngsters having fun. I would have been thrilled with winning just 1 of the 6 ODIs, winning 4 was far beyond my wildest dreams.

It is a shame that New Zealand are off home now. They have been a true joy to watch. They play aggressive, exciting cricket and with a good spirit.

Great series ....exciting , indeed !
