the bails off on the second attempt. Santner's footing is fine. Santer gets turn outside off and lures Root out of the crease.

Root stumped. Ronchi fumbled, took it off the chin and still had time to stump him. Not a good start from England.

Morgan goes first ball. England in a big hole at 20/3. I am curious to know what the record is for teams batting second when faced with chasing down a score impacted by the Duckworth Lewis method. I will do some digging around to see if I can find some numbers.

It appears that there are no resources that list results for games that were adjusted by the Duckworth Lewis method, though  according to this site, teams chasing actually win 60 percent of matches when D/L method comes into play as opposed to 50 percent in games not affected by D/L.
