CONCUSSED opener Chris Rogers has returned to the nets for some light batting drills and is pushing to win a medical clearance to play in the second Test against West Indies in Jamaica on Thursday.

Rogers is desperate to make the most of every opportunity with only six possible Test matches remaining in his career including the Ashes after stating he wouldn’t be going to Bangladesh for the October Test tour.

The 37-year-old Rogers was struck in the helmet while batting during training last Sunday and was ruled out by team doctor Peter Brukner on Monday, two days before the Dominica Test started.
