if Phil straightens out this west indies side. tuffens it up, gets consistent performance out of it, and fills in the gaps in the side...deh must give him a bonus of millions. deh shud take up a hat for him and pass it around the region
west indies need batsmen with the capability to score tons consistently, to bat well, apply themselves.
when I think of Devon Smith, Samules and lil Bravo and Blackwood, I don't see anything like that at all. and now Shive looks like he is done finally and there is no way in hell this west indies batting side is going anywhere. 250-300 is all these guys are worth on their best days. nothing more and often a lot less.
Shai Hope represents an opportunity to develop a good batsman. we should explore that possibility immediately and look for more

we need Smiff out of the side so Hope comes in. and we need Samules down the order. no matter what he is not a batsman to be counted on. I wud drop him down to Blackwood's position and I would drop Blackwood
despite his ton which I was very happy for I see Blackwood now to be a problem..not a batsman to be counted on at all. he can be easily dropped if selection gets complex
Hope should open with Paint. it would be good if we could get Hope into the 3 slot with Bravo at 4, then Shive and only then Samules. one way to get Bravo at 4 is to try TD's idea of Holder at 3. I am willing to do that now

that is how I would get my 5 bowlers in the team..or play 2 spinners and still have-3 pace in there
but if I am going to pik 2 spinners I dont want to hear anything about Benn and Miller anymore. we either pik an attacking spinner or I sticking with pace. so roll out the attack spinners with legal bowling actions and leh we take a look

I not even counting because I expect that we will fall through the floor. all the ingredients are in place for a fall straight to the bottom. we have in administration an absolutely rapacious, greedy and comprehensively arrogant and incompetent leadership in place. so what you expect ::confused::
come on man! those guys aim and goal, their purpose is at odds with the goal of putting out a good competitive team. who in their right mind is going to allow their talented sons to play cricket for the west indies..when there are all kinds of goodies for athletics, basketball etc ::confused::
