gabe bowled well enuff to have taken a couple of wickets. he was unlucky as always since his return. and gabe bowled fast too..very fast. as fast or faster than Cottrell. but I know Cottrell would not have been as fit and consistent as Gabe was. that is the point of Gabe in the side. it is not wise to trust Cottrell
Roach had some good balls too but he is not what he used to be. west indian pace is not what it used to be. the quality of pitches did not matter back in the day..and still does not matter currently..if you are a good bowler. good bowlers transcend conditions. good bowlers out people all the time regardless of conditions
I am tired of west indian failure...but failure to build up the cricket, to keep it at the top more than anything. the state of the team is sick and getting worse. we have lesser quality players and no one ready to step into replace these sorry bozos even of their same sorry quality.
I was saying the same thing with Taylor not being in the team but then I remembered we still ave Jason Holder and he can provide the break through. Gabriel is just there to bowl overs and he doesn't seem to be able to create chances.
