Left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn has been dropped from the West Indies squad for the second Test against England in Grenada beginning on April 21. Right-arm medium pacer Shannon Gabriel has been called up in the only change to the West Indies 14-man squad.

I guess that means Bishoo will be the lone front line spinner?

Finally he goes. I couldn't understand his selection most times

(Reuters) - West Indies have dropped spinner Sulieman Benn for the second test against England starting in Grenada on Tuesday.

Fast bowler Shannon Gabriel was added to the squad which drew the first match of the series in Antigua last week.

"We saw a really good display on the final day which earned us a draw," coach Phil Simmons told the West Indies Cricket Board website.

"We had some good moments in the first match and as a team we will look to improve when we play the second test," Simmons added.

"We believe we can win, and we will play to win. We know the areas where we need to improve and what is required to win."

Strange ....... Benn dropped for Gabriel ... and not Bishoo !!!

#6
cal, it means bishoo will play and gabriel is cover for another fast bowler

#7
So whom ??ย  Roach or Taylor ???

#8
could be for a batsman. can 4 bowlers win test matches?

#9
Gabriel is a Seamer that holds the seam in its wrong position.

Selectors may THINK he is a spinner as a resultย  Tongue

hence he replaces our Lone specialist spinner............
