Percy Sledge Dead at 73

Percy Sledge, the Alabama-born R&B powerhouse who topped the Billboard Hot 100

with "When a Man Loves a Woman" in 1966,

died this morning in his Baton Rouge, Louisiana home, according to ABC News.

He was 73.

Sledge was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.

Sledge is survived by his wife and children.

percy was my man.  while everybody krazy about JB I liked Percy :-[
